There is a parallel import network of second-hand Yamaha U1 and Yamaha U3 pianos on the market from China. These pianos have been used in Japan in schools and academies, which has worn them out enormously. At the end of their life, they are sent to China to be convincingly patched up, with parts that are not certified.
These pianos sold in Europe and around the world are not guaranteed by Yamaha. In the event of a problem, no recourse is possible.
